Sirius-Beta was incorporated in 1971 (under a different name). Since 1981 it has served as a vehicle for Ted Goranson's work, going dormant from time to time. We do advanced research in conceptual architectures and abstraction strategies, primarily for the government. We've also worked behind the scenes for a very few big commercial enterprises.

The name is drawn from Sirius, the brightest star in the sky. It is a binary system. Sirius-Alpha is what you see, but its brightness is due to the influence of its invisible, weightier partner.

The logo is a two dimensional projection from a multidimensional alphabet used in one of our conceptual environments. It is the term for the representation of a multilevel abstraction.
